Editorial process and Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor. If found suitable for further consideration and publication, will be subjected to peer review by independent, competent, experts and anonymous referees. Receipt of the manuscript will be acknowledged by email. Every effort will be made to complete the review process within shortest possible time. Papers will be submitted electronically by visiting the journal website.

Publication cost/Open Access Fees

Accepted articles will be published online for free open access for all to view. Open access publishing provides the maximum dissemination of the article to the largest audience.

Publication Charges

All submitted manuscripts in REJOST shall undergo preliminary assessment by the Editor. After the assessment, the paper can be rejected if it does not meet the standard of REJOST or be subjected to peer review process by two independent and anonymous experts/reviewers selected by the Editor-in-Chief with the assistance of the section editors and members of the editorial board if it is technically and comprehensively adequate. The corresponding author will be notified on receipt of manuscript by email. Paper submissions must be done electronically through the journal website. The editorial team shall put every possible effort to ensure that review process is completed in full cycle in the shortest possible time. Upon acceptance, the author(s) will pay article processing fee of Twenty five thousand Naira (N25,000.00) or Fifty US Dollars ($50) only through the Bank Account of REJOST.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Accepted Manuscript/Galley proof

After peer review, reviewer’s and editor’s comments are sent to the corresponding author. Accepted manuscript is sent as galley proof to the corresponding author. Authors should review proofs in detail to ensure that the text and figures are correct. Authors are encouraged to return proofs within 2 to 3 days by email attachment to ensure timely publication.

Journal Publishing Agreement

A properly completed and signed Journal Publishing Agreement must be submitted for each manuscript (download a sample copy from the Journal website).

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Frequency of Publication

Four issues a year, with rapid review and publication.

Abstracting/Indexing

Papers published are abstracted and indexed by scientific indexing services Open J-Gate, Google Scholar, EBSCO Host, EMBASE.
